I don't think I'm alone when I admit I have had enough of winter. The days, however, do appear to be getting longer and it has me itching for spring.

My recent buying trips to New York and Las Vegas have me incredibly excited for the year. We've been receiving new shipments daily. This week we added incredible felted wool & leather purses by Gabs of Italy, graphic laminate luggage tags to adorn your suitcase for those spring break retreats, Sue Rosengard jewelry, and European twist candleholders to decorate your Easter table. Very chic!

It snowed in my storefront window today.

I know it won't be long before the snow flies into our skies and everyone, including myself, gets into the winter routine. Allowing extra time into the routine to get all bundled up to go outside for the day, earlier sunsets, and of course, more time spent at home.

That last one to me is the bonus.

Notice I said more time spent at home. Home means with everybody together. Home means all are done for the day and all are inside. I don't necessarily get to spend more time at my house, but when I do, everybody is around, and that is the best part of winter.

I hope you get to spend a good amount of time with those who matter. I wish you a great deal of togetherness and peace this holiday season. With the busy lifestyles we all lead, it is refreshing to come home and have things decorated to your taste, your personal space tended to and adorned with beautiful things you cherish, so you can just sit back and relax in the comfortable home you've created surrounded by those you cherish.
